Miranda Sheppard is an Australian born artist, with over 10 years of experience as an Art Director, Designer and Illustrator for major publications around the globe.
Her personal style shows a cheeky sense of humor and wit. She makes commissioned works for individuals, businesses, events, and ad campaigns such as L’Oreal, Dior, SK-II and L’Occitane.
As an Art Director, Miranda has worked in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industry in New York City, Sydney and Hong Kong. Holding the title as the Senior Art Director at Harper's Bazaar and Seventeen Magazine (both editorial and advertising), creating concepts from origination to implementation. Her experience covers everything from planning, branding, scouting locations, on-set art direction, multiple scale crew management, designing layouts, retouching, illustration, typography and post production.
Miranda has had much success by combining illustrations (stilled and animated) and social media into eye catching adverts for local businesses - reaching over 5 thousand views, giving those brands high recognition, increasing their business revenue and gaining them higher populations of followers.
Miranda specializes in couture and customized illustrations. She has the ability to capture stories as evidenced by her highly sought after wedding invitations and portraits. She’ll listen to a couples’ love story and visually portray it with a one of a kind work of art. This iconic visual can be carried through crests, maps, programs, menus, name tags etc. She takes pride and joy in celebrating someone’s special occasion and providing a truly unique experience. Her skills as a visual storyteller can be applied to any type of clientele - individual, couple, group, family, business, event, branding, to name but a few.
